“Sisters Melancholy”

This picture is a tribute to the 1917 tryptych by Henri Matisse. I needed his
brilliance to make up for my lack of  understanding for the subject matter. I did not
need Mssr. Mattisse’ help to fuel my facination and admiration of the subject.
